¡Bienvenidos!—the spring quarter whizzed by but not without a few successful outcomes that we're excited to share with you below. If you
have creative communication challenges on the horizon, we'd love to
hear from you…
Of all the boutique design studios in the South of Market area in San Francisco, Barretto-Co. was selected by Westfield Corporation to envision, write, design, and produce a marketing communications print project for the redevelopment of the recently purchased Metreon property in SOMA.
The materials serve as a marketing tool for positioning the Metreon
as a retail entertainment destination for future “anchor” retail tenants. The Metreon property is defined by the client as a "one-of-a-kind" development, so Barretto-Co. was hired specifically for our experience
in working with clients in the South of Market area and for our "out-of-the-box" creative approach.
After the positive response to our creative print work for Adobe's Creative Suite 3 product launch, we were asked to continue working with Adobe on the second tier of solutions collateral starting with the Production Premium Video Suite.
The first in a series of three brochures we are working on, the
Production Premium product offering is targeted at professional videographers and up-and-coming independent filmmakers. Working with existing photography from the client, we crafted the messaging
to suit, and pushed the design aesthetic to best effect within the
Adobe brand guidelines.
Launched from Keller Williams, the agents at M.E. Properties represent real estate projects that offer something special and far beyond the ordinary. The new brand identity seeks to reflect this aspiring attitude and spirit.
Some clients require that you use their "brand" colors, others require that you use their "brand" guidelines, Missy Eccheveria ("the" M.E. in M.E. Properties) didn't require us to use either, we had absolutely free reign to create… ummm, but we absolutely had to use the imported lion head door knocker.
Q3 promises some exciting new work, a new Art of Modern Rock poster publication by Chronicle, an environmental installation with interactive media for a Westfield project in San Diego, and identity work for a top secret restaurant in downtown San Francsico… it's so top secret we can't tell you here.
Stay on our list, or better yet, get your friends to sign up. We'll be contacting you again in October!
